Master David Lewis has been training in the Chinese Martial and Healing arts for more than 45 years. His impact as a fierce fighter and technical master of the arts has been displayed from his roots in the Chicago area to Taiwan and back. A strong traditionalist who believes in keeping the honored arts pure and master them to one’s highest ability. 

He has kept his training simple and honorably loyal to two styles throughout his life long journey. The Taiwanese style of Shaolin Chaun / Moi Fah and Taiwan’s Shen Long Tai Chi.

From 1983 to present day Master Dave has served as the owner and chief instructor of the Saint Cloud Kung Fu & Tai Chi Club, 1983 – present.

He has trained several state champions in fighting and forms in preparation for competition 

in open martial arts tournaments. His Saint Cloud, Florida team has been a dominant force to deal with in Florida tournaments. In 1986 Dave won the brutal ‘BAD MAN’ competition in Florida. He was the undisputed champion of the unlimited class in Florida until it was outlawed and shortly later became the UFC. 

Dave has trained in Asia for many years with 12 trips pertaining to his traditional Kung Fu and Tai Chi training and cultural exchange.

7^th Shaolin Chuan Moi Fah - Kevin Grissom, 1980 – present 

7^th level Shaolin Chaun Moi Fah - John Chi Yuan Tsai 1980 – until his passing in 2020 

Shen Long Tai Chi -  Kuo Chung Wu – Taiwan till his passing in 2016
